Public Transportation
San Francisco Municipal Railway (MUNI) offers various public transportation methods to get around San Francisco at a very reasonable cost. Muni operates 80 routes throughout San Francisco with stops within 2 blocks of 90% of all residences in the city. Operating Historic streetcars, modern light rail vehicles, diesel buses, alternative fuel vehicles, electric trolley coaches, and the world famous cable cars. The basic adult fare for all is $2.00, and $0.75 for Seniors (+65). The cable cars cost $5.00. All have stops or stations located within blocks of the Moscone Center.

- San Francisco Metro (Light Rail) – The Light Rail operates 6 lines that service San Francisco city and county. The nearest stops to the Moscone Center are the Powell Station and Montgomery Station, both located on Market St.
- 5:00 AM – 1:00 AM Monday through Friday
- 6:00 AM – 1:00 AM Saturday
- 8:00 AM – 1:00 AM Sunday
- Historic Streetcars – Run only on the F line. The F line runs from 17th St. and Castro St. down Market St. and ends at Jones St. and Beach St. at Fisherman's Wharf. The nearest stop to The Moscone Center is at 4th St. and Market St.
- Local Bus – The local bus system runs local, express, and neighborhood routes. There are numerous bus stops located outside the Moscone Center.
- Historic Cable Cars – The San Francisco Cable cars run 3 lines in the city. The California Line, Powell & Hyde Line, and Powell & Mason Line. Fares are $5.00 One Way.
- The California Line – Runs from California St. and Drumm St. to California St. and Van Ness Ave.
- The Powell & Hyde Line – Runs from Powell St. and Beach St. to Powell St. and Market St.
- The Powell & Mason Line – Runs from Taylor St. and Bay St. to Powell St. and Market St.
Bay Area
- Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) – Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) connects the San Francisco Peninsula with Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, Walnut Creek, Dublin/Pleasanton, and other cities in the East Bay. BART also operates from San Francisco International Airport to Downtown San Francisco with a fare of $8.10.
- Caltrain – Caltrain is a commuter rail service that operates between San Mateo County and Downtown San Francisco. The nearest station would be the San Francisco Station which also provides connection to MUNI.
